Globo Usinagem aims at a higher goal: to create a foundation capable of promoting a healthy and pleasant environment for working, besides achieving a standard of engagement within its collaborators and society, capable of valuing all actions that can contribute to behavior change, focused on Environment preservation.

By using consistent practices, the company carries out actions that focus on controlling and, when possible, eliminating environmental impacts from its activities, for instance:

• Biological Effluent Treatment Plant: treats all biological effluent generated by the company;
• Industrial Effluent Treatment Plant: treats the industrial effluent generated by the process, in addition, treated water is reused in a closed circuit;
• Efficient Collection of Recyclable Waste Materials
• Waste Center: an appropriate storage location for hazardous and non-hazardous waste that is separated until final disposal;
• Monitoring and reduction targets for waste generation and use of natural resources;
• Development of a project for total recovery of a Permanent Preservation Area (PPA);
• Organized tours for students aimed at sharing information and experiences;
• Continuous work with employees to raise awareness about environment protection.
